Even though per the name, it is not advertised, single fathers can get WIC! WIC stands for Women, Infants, and Children. WIC’s official name is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children.
The WIC program was developed to meet the needs of pregnant women, infants, and children in the critical growth years of fetal development and early childhood. WIC benefits, by design of the program, are provided only to pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants, and children under the age of five. A man with any of these participants in his family benefits from the support the nutritious food and nutrition education offers his family. Men can and are encouraged to participate in nutrition education, family nutrition counseling, shopping for WIC approved food, and referrals to health care and other programs that may benefit their families. Find out more about nutrition here.

New: The Single Father Group

The Single Father Organization is a private support and resource network for single fathers with children of any age help with parenting and growing families. Ask, Share, Learn, Support, and Grow.

This group started from my podcast called, ‘The Single Father Podcast.’

I wanted to give other single fathers a community group where we can vent and support each other. (appropriately)

I hope this group can be a place where we can talk about recent episodes, share resources, vent about our experiences, learn from others, and most of all support each other.

All you have to do to get access to this group is join our patreon and then search on facebook The Single Father group or click here to join the pack. Note: Email hello@ventpack.org when you joined the patreon so we are sure to accept your request to join the group.
